You are welcome to the website of Kettil Brunn Society (KBS) thematic meeting on alcohol epidemiology and policy 2010. KBS is an international organization of scientists engaged in research on the social and health aspects of alcohol use and alcohol problems. The meeting will take place from 15th to 18th Nov 2010 at the Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, Uganda (http://www.spekeresort.com/). The meeting will be the first ever KBS meeting in Africa.
The KBS thematic meeting is being organized by Makerere University school of Public Health (MUSPH) in conjunction with KBS management. The members of the local organizing committee have been drawn from different departments of the University, organizations dealing with alcohol related issues and relevant government ministries. There is also an international advisory group that comprises the KBS management and other eminent persons in the field of alcohol research.
